Computer training for madarsa students

The Times of India

Children from under-privileged and minority groups will now also get computer training in India.

The department ofInformation Technology of India has planned to provide computer training to socially-deprived children. The Chandigarh Administration has taken this initiative under its IT reach out program (CITROP). The scheme would be launched under the "IT for Society" administration' to provide computer skills to underprivileged children. The administration in association with United Progressive Muslim Front has started a basic computer programme and soft skills programme for students of Madrasa, Manimajra.
