Indian Government set to
finalise action plan on climate change
The Government of India is planning to finalise
the national action plan on climate change. The Prime Minister's
committee discussed on this plan on 2 June 2008. The 22 member
committee will complete the plan before the G-8 Summit, which will
held on 7-9 July 2008 in Tokyo, Japan. The 34th G-8 Summit is
expected to be dominated by the issue of climate change.
