Description | All Projects | Social Development | Community Info Service | School-based Curriculum | University Curriculum |
Software Solution
The projects which are going on and on the way of implementation in different pats of India have been categorised as per the target groups/beneficiaries and aim. There are some projects which aim to narrow the digital divide, through providing informal learning as well as IT literacy to empower the weaker sections of the society, ultimately aiming at the Social Development

There are some projects which provide the relevant information to the people of the community who are not so literate but have the minimum knowledge about the letters, the underprivileged section of the society who need to access some information on regular basis but don’t have proper access to media etc because of financial constraints. It is another way of bridging the gap of ‘digital divide’ through providing some information regularly for the community, especially underprivileged, using electronic media, rather ‘e-Learning’; these projects have been placed under the category Community Info Service

There are some projects where the target groups are very much specific, the students of schools in rural areas and slums, who need the knowledge of using computers, but don’t get the same because of some infrastructural problems. These projects are marked as School-based Curriculum. On-line learning, which is gaining popularity day-by-day is another way of e-Learning, has been categorised as University Curriculum, the target group here are mainly the students cum professionals. There are some projects which provide the Software Solution, these projects have been kept under separate category.

All projectsare also arranged alphabetically so that anyone can access any project quickly, if required.

If you know about any other e-learning project already implemented or planned to be implemented in India, kindly post the details of it to us along with the contact persons associated with it.
